Mountain, Nature and Adventure

montagne.png

The stories of people who have chosen to link their lives to the mountain, to wide spaces and adventures as told through unique and emotion-laden filming. Each report presents people, situations and mountain sights from various corners of our planet: from the valleys of Switzerland to the height of the Himalaya and the Antarctic. The magazine does not only present stories about high altitudes, but also looks into the valleys or sometimes even deep into the bowels of the mountains Some stories are close to us, others come from far away places. A number of documentaries are devoted to the great mountain-climbers and explorers of the past such as Walter Bonatti and Carlo Mauri, others focus in on the present-day lives of peasants with unique experiences, from sailing to cycling or walking – in the footsteps of adventure buffs who have given up everything to follow their dream and experience something new. In this programme emotions are displayed through visions of mountains, nature, adventure and exploration.
